From the first time I walked through the doors of a YMCA at 7 years old, I knew that I was in a place that I belonged, without being judged by my beliefs or abilities. The Y has always been a place to learn, have fun, make friends, and most of all, feel the power of acceptance and belonging Now I am privileged to have a career in this amazing non-profit organization that strives to include everyone while reaching out to make our community stronger. My Y provides summer day camp to nearly 300 children whose parents are struggling financially. We also deliver 25,000 lunches, along with games and fun, to those kids in our community - those who live in extended stay hotels and low income apartment complexes - when schools are on break. I hope that you will consider making a donation to this great work as I work toward my fundraising goal.
Please join me and support the Y with a gift today.
