Hi Friends and Family,
As many of you know, I will be completing my sophomore year at the University of Georgia this spring, and afterwards I am so fortunate to be one of the Program Directors at YMCA Camp High Harbour Lake Burton for the whole of summer 2020. I am so excited for this summer at camp.
Right after school lets out, I’ll go where I’ve gone every year for the past 11 years. I call it my my home away from home, Camp High Harbour. I’m anxious to go back and be leading the media program at camp and be serving in a director role for kids that are exactly where I was so many years ago. I would not be who I am today without the incredible experiences I had as a camper at High Harbour.
After my camper years were over, my camp experience was deepened further by High Harbour's Advanced Leadership Academy program, through which I learned to lead by serving others and share what I love about camp with others. These last six years have been spent doing just this, and today I want to do more by sharing my love for camp with those who are unable to go to camp due to family or financial needs.
At YMCA Camp High Harbour, we are attempting to send 721 kids to camp who otherwise would not be able to afford it. You can play a huge role in helping us give many deserving children the chance to experience this great place. Even if you can only donate a few dollars towards this goal, be assured 100% goes to individuals in our community who need the YMCA the most.
Thank you so much!
