The YMCA of Metro Atlanta makes a significant difference in the lives of 250,000 individuals in our communities, every day. That’s why I’m proud to be a Y Champion for the YMCA.
So much more than a gym and a great place to swim, the Y develops vital programs and services for ALL people in Metro Atlanta to reach their full potential. Today, 1 in 4 children, teens, and families needs financial assistance to be a part of the Y. As a charitable nonprofit, the Y relies on donations from people like you and me.
Please join me and support the Y with a gift today.
My name is Windham Reeder. I am currently 20 years old and I attend The University of Georgia. I have been attending Camp High Harbour at Lake Burton for the last 14 summers and I have been greatful for every moment. At camp you get to expierence God in a new way, meet new friends, and get out of your comfort zone. At camp I got closer to God in a way I never thought about before. Also, I have been able to express myself in a way most people don't...be yourself without others judging. Last year, I experienced the Head Counselor program and I will be doing the same this year. This is the third time I get to see what it was like to be a camp counselor and a role model for campers. Last summer I met a ton of new friends for life. When I got home from camp, I got to experience the servant leadership that I learned this past summer. I learned how to use it in sports, at home, school and with my friends. Camp has changed my l life so much and I can't wait to change other young peoples lives.
Please donate to help less fortunate kids to be able to have the same experiences as i did.
