The Y has served the metro Atlanta community for more than 160 years. Now in the face of the uncertainty caused by the coronavirus, the Y is committed to adapting our programs—as we have throughout our history—to meet the most pressing needs of Atlanta’s children, seniors, and families. Mobilizing staff, facilities, and partners, we have launched three initiatives: childcare for first responders, hunger relief, and member wellbeing. Through these essential services, we can help serve those who need us most during these difficult times, ensuring our community stays healthy and safe. Donations are critical to fund these initiatives, and we know that the need for financial assistance for all of the Y's traditional programming will increase dramatically when we begin to recover from this crisis and establish a new normal.
The photograph you see is another Decatur Y board member, Sue Sullivan, and me, at the Eastlake Y food distribution. Your donation would go toward events like this to ensure we do not run out of food for those in need.
Please consider making a gift on my Y Champions page to help our Y provide critical programming during this time of need in our community. Thank you!
Please join me and support the Y by making a donation today. Your gift will truly make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need the Y most.
